iCab ß235 iframe and object copy bug

With iCab ß235 on Mac OS X 10.3.7, it appears that Edit: Copy (cmd-c) is disabled for selected text when that text is on a page loaded via an iframe or an object tag (used when HTML 4.01 Strict compliance is needed).

This has been confirmed by members of the iCab list on Mac OS X 10.3.8 and Mac OS 9.2.2 and 8.6 as well as 10.3.7.

Edit: It has been pointed out to me that this bug was also present in iCab 2.9.8.

Edit: This also affects "normal" frames.

Update: This bug was fixed in ß244 or ß245.

Work-arounds

• Copy the selected text using the contextual menu's "Copy Selection to Clipboard" option
• Drag-and-drop the text to the Desktop or desired application
